no.7  Gazebo house

This is the atelier and residence of the owner, who owns a piece of land with a great view of Yugawara. The first floor has an atelier, and the second floor has an open living, dining, and kitchen area. You can feel the town of Yugawara, the sea, and nature through the wide opening. The roof has a trumpet shape that widens towards the large opening. The structure is a typical wooden frame, but by using fabricated braces on the short side of the opening, a large opening with openness is achieved. The ceiling heights on the second floor vary from 1.8m to 2.6m, narrowing down the space cross-sectionally and creating an openness to the outside. On the first floor, the core was placed in the center of the plane to allow for ventilation and circulation.
