no.3 tree lantern
A tree house that is gentle on trees and wraps around like a tree.
When the cross section is cut, it looks like a boiled egg.
It is a nested space with a residence on the inside and a spiral staircase on the outside.
While looking around, I snuggled up to the tree and climbed the spiral stairs.
The layer of the spiral staircase acts as an intermediate area connecting the central residence and the outside world.
Structurally, we aimed for a structure that makes it as easy as possible to disperse the force so that the tree is not burdened.
The structure is such that the round steel is spirally wound while gently wrapping the wood like a lantern, and the rope is knitted on the truss. At the top is a slab with a ring-shaped flat bar sandwiched between branches. The round steel skeleton and rope are supported to be held by this slab.
The knitting rope itself becomes a wall and also a stair railing. I will attach a film-like material to the outside to survive the rain.
At night, light is lit from the central yolk, and when viewed from the outside, it becomes a large lantern that lights a tree, creating an illusionary landscape.
